Lance Armstrong – The Comeback Kid

by Dr. Patrick MacNamara on January 7, 2009

I have to say that I’m very excited about the 2009 Pro cycling season. I’ve enjoyed the last few years, but, to be quite honest, some of the races were complete sleepers compared to ones in the past when Lance Armstrong was racing.

Lance injects enthusiasm, life and passion into the sport. He doesn’t do things half-way. He’s either all or nothing. He gives us mortals more reasons to get out of bed to ride than any self-motivation can conjure up.

I welcome him back to the sport and look forward to an exceptional season!

For those of you that may have missed it, here’s an exceptional video on Lance’s training and racing highlights. It’s worth the watch before you hop onto that trainer.

Enjoy!

I think you can never count Lance out. He has an uphill battle for the 09 tour, but he’s proven that he can do the impossible.

Hey, Bob! Thanks for stopping by the site.

I couldn’t have said it better! And, it will be nice to see him take the impossible and make it possible. With a team like Astana, the odds are in his favor.

Whatever the outcome, it will be an exciting year indeed!

Indeed! I’ve enjoyed his comeback and am looking forward to his presence in this year’s Tour de France. It should be interesting!
