How To Find Balance In Life

by Dr. Mac on August 31, 2008

I’ve taken a much needed rest and break from several areas of my life. One of those areas is posting to this blog. Even though I love blogging, life has many variables and you have to learn how to find balance within the mix.

The balance comes from…a consistent review of your personal values, roles and goals. As you examine your values and line them up with your roles, you’ll more effectively stay true to the “Big Rocks” in your life.

For a much deeper study on the aforementioned, I encourage you to read First Things First by Stephen Covey and What Matters Most by Hyrum Smith.

In closing, I read a wonderful post by Tony Hung who paraphrased my thoughts adequately regarding my lack of blog posts for the month of August. Being a parent of young children, I can completely relate. Silence sometimes IS golden.
